If you are a South African citizen successfully pursuing a science or engineering degree at a South African university or a Grade 12 Learner aiming to study for a degree in science or engineering in 2017, the CSIR bursary is for you.

Requirements for Grade 12 Learners:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • A minimum of a Level 5 for English (First Language or a English Second Language} in Grade 11
  • Preferably level 6 for Mathematics and Physical Science in Grade 11
  • Enrol for BSc or BE, full.time at a public tertiary institution

Requirements for Undergraduate University Students:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must hove passed all courses for which you hove registered at the university for the study period already completed

Requirements for Honours Students:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Planning to enrol full.time at South African university for 2017
  • Must have passed all courses for which you have registered at the university for the study period already completed
