Twenty-seven years ago, Pierre Cronje launched a furniture restoration business in Cape Town.
Pierre Cronje (Pty) Ltd is an active member of the Western Cape Furniture Initiative, established by stakeholders to promote sustainable capacity building in the industry. We pride ourselves on our strong commitment to the training and development of young South Africans. Together with our partner in skills development, The Furniture Technology Centre Trust (Furntech), we have established a strong training programme with the largest number of registered learnerships in the furniture manufacturing industry in South Africa.
We offer learnerships level 2 in Cabinet making and Wood machining /Upholstery/ Wood Finishing.
A two-year learnership, involving practical in-house learning at the furniture manufacturing factory in Cape Town, coupled with vocational skills development at Furntech, culminates in the awarding of an industry-recognized certificate after successful three-tier ability testing.
Requiremets:
- Candidates with Grade 12 maths/maths literacy, dedicated, reliable and willing to learn will be considered.
