Paarl Labels is seeking to appoint a young and energetic graduate who has recently qualified as an Industrial Engineer in in the Western Cape. The main focus would be to document production work flow to ensure continuous improvement within their business.
This will be for a period of 4 months
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Recommend cost effective and efficient solutions and strategies for continuous improvement.
Analysing statistical data & product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability objectives of finished products.
Communicate with management and personnel to develop production and design standards.
Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost.
Develop manufacturing methods, labour utilisation standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
Requirements / Eligibility Criteria
Relevant industrial engineering degree
Basic working experience in a high speed manufacturing and/or printing environment would be advantageous.
