Requirements / Eligibility Criteria

Passed Grade 12 with the following subjects with at least a “D” symbol on HG or a “C” symbol on SG or minimum of Achievement level 4 or Equivalent on both Mathematics and Physical Science:

Passed N3 with the following subjects with at least a D symbol: Mathematics and Engineering Science

The following trades are offered. In order of preference, state two trades which you are interested in:

  • Aircraft Composite Structures
  • Aircraft Electroplating
  • Aircraft Turner Machinist

    I would like to apply for saa apprenticeship/learnership, but i don’t meet the minimum symbol requirements on maths and science. Isn’t selection process much important than that? Does age merit ever apply, because I am over 30years? The thing is I am really interested and always have.
