Armscor Talent Development Programme 2016 / 2017 in South Africa

Armscor Dockyard is offering a two-year employment contract for Graduates in the engineering and analytical chemistry fields under its Talent Development Programme.

This programme aims to provide experiential training to develop new graduates and an opportunity for the successful applicants to be permanently appointed after the two-year training period, should the competency level required be reached and an applicable vacancy becomes available.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

  • Electrical Engineers-in-Training Ref. Nr. DY16/3/1
    The successful candidate will perform tasks in the Electrical-related engineering workshops and other Dockyard facilities.
  • Mechanical Engineers-in-Training Ref. Nr. DY16/3/2 The successful candidate will perform tasks in the Mechanical-related engineering workshops and other Dockyard facilities
  • Analytical Chemist-in-Training Ref. Nr. DY16/3/3
    The successful candidate will perform chemical analysis and related tasks in the Materials Laboratory and other Dockyard facilities

EXPERT ABILITY AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Applicable Bachelor’s degree – Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering or Analytical Chemistry
